Ink supply

In the production process of packaging printers, ink plays an important role. It must reach the substrate in the right place, in the right colour, with the right amount and the right viscosity. We have the necessary equipment available to manage this effectively: ink mixing machines, ink pumps, filters, magnets, and viscosity controllers. We are happy to inform you about the possibilities.

Viscosity controllers

Als er geproduceerd wordt loopt de temperatuur van de inkten op. Dat zorgt voor verdamping en beinvloedt de eigenschappen van de inkt en daardoor ook de kleuren op het substraat. Filters and magnets

Bij gebruik in het drukproces wordt de inkt vervuild en opgewarmd. Om de conditie optimaal te houden zijn er hulpmiddelen ontwikkeld, zoals filters, koelers (eventueel in combinatie), magneten. gestandaardiseerde tanks zijn zo ontworpen dat deze accessoires er direct opgebouwd kunnen worden. Web control

A good run of the web through the machine can be guaranteed by applying web control. This ensures that even if an irregularly wound web is introduced, it is still perfectly processed in the side register and wound straight and evenly. Various sensors make it possible to process all types of substrates.

Regulating static electricity

Static electricity in a substrate can significantly disrupt the ink over transfer. This problem can be solved by applying ionised air that is blown over the track via anti-static bars with a fan. If the distance is less than a metre, this also immediately blows the track clean of dust.

Corona pre-treatment

Corona applied when the surface tension of a substrate is not correct. Especially plastic materials are suitable for this treatment. Even if they have already been pre-treated, these substrates may need a refresh after a while. We distinguish between one-sided and two-sided systems with or without metallised film.

Web inspection

To keep an eye on things during production, we offer numerous solutions. From manual inspection with stroboscopes to semi-automatic CCTV inspection and fully automatic 100% inspection for, among others, the pharmaceutical industry. Colour inspection on "true light" inspection tables is also possible.

General production management

General tools that really help with the organisation of work in the packaging printing industry include, among others, an ERP/MES system to grow into a data-driven "industry 4.0" company. In addition, we offer auxiliary equipment such as roll lifters and tilters, core cutters, and storage systems for print sleeves.
